The Inspiration: Focus
Fall 2014 was inspired by the feeling of being both in and out of focus: where color melts, edges bleed, and sharpness is blurred. It focuses on the concept of blurred photography and how images become abstract as they move from being in and out of focus. There is an emphasis on layering print and playing with texture and shine. Each girl is meant to feel both soft and sharp with an off kilter balance of slickness and classic femininity.
